Shipping Policy

Turnaround


Orders are typically shipped within 1 - 2 business days of order confirmation, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Carriers


We currently use the following carrier to deliver our orders:

FedEx 

*Currently, we offer FLAT RATE shipping through FedEx. Please allow 7 - 10 business days for general merchandise and textbooks.
 

Order Tracking


If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
 

Shipping Rates


The University of Tennessee Online Store (shop.uthsc.edu) offers $4.99 flat rate shipping on most general merchandise. Technology items, such as laptops, desktops, hardware, etc., require more packaging, etc., therefore technology items will ship for a flat rate of $20.00. There are some items that will be charged a rate based on weight, these orders are considered freight items and will be shipped accordingly (examples of these items include, but are not limited to the Boston Rocker, Captain's Chair, etc.). Currently, the University of Tennessee VolShop cannot ship Internationally.

Back Orders


If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. You will receive notification in your shipment that a portion of your order has been back-ordered. Currently, we have no system in place that will allow the back-ordered items to ship at a later date. We currently do not ship internationally.

In-Store Pickup


We offer in-store pickup at several of our locations, including Knoxville and Memphis. When you order online, during the checkout process, you will be asked which shipping method you prefer, as well as the store location for in-store pick-ups.
